Access to third party services

Wizi may seek your permission at various levels to fetch information securely from other linked third- party services available.

On successful grant of permission by the user, we may fetch information from trusted third-party services for customizing the card experience for you

Card application

For any fresh application of credit cards by user in our app, we digitally verify the customer address, identity and income for streamlining the credit card application. Wizi uses certified third-party service providers for e-verifying the same to ensure a paperless card approval for our customers.

SMS Permissions

The app also requests permission from the user for fetching the details from the card transactions messages for updating the payment reminders, fraudulent activity highlights and reporting transactions in the app on a real-time basis. The app also captures any special promo messages and curated offers on your card and highlights the user in our offer interface.

Gmail Access Permission

An Wizi user may prefer to link his single/multiple credit card statements to the app by linking the user’s Gmail account. The statement from the customers Gmail account is fetched automatically post successful authorization by the user to do so. Wizi does not fetch any other information apart from the card statements and transactional messages.

The user may also prefer to delink the credit card statements from the app at any time. The statement permission is strictly the discretion of the user. We at Wizi ensure that we use the data only to refine the app experience for the user and the data is stored in a highly encrypted environment.

We also maintain the log of information fetched from your statement for your review at any point in time thereby ensuring complete transparency and peace of mind for our users. The highly protected environment powered by AWS adds to this shield wrt data protection, privacy and usage

How do we access your data?

On successful consent and authorization received from the user to link his credit card statements received in the user’s gmail account with the wizi app, the credit card statements and transactions are accessed for the purpose of sharing the same to the customer in the app with detailed analysis on the spends, charges and fees pertaining to his credit card. Wizi assures that the card related data we collect are relevant, adequate and not excessive in relation to the purpose of the processing and its eventual use. E.g Bill Payment Amount, Finance Charges etc

How do we use your data?

We will use the data accessed to provide insights to the user on his credit card.

Credit card transactions and data fetched from your credit card statements through google O-auth is central and prominent to our user interface as Wizi is a credit card management app built to provide a simple user interface to its users

  • Wizi app limits the use of transactional data fetched from credit card statements for improving the user interface in the app only
  • The data is used to present a dashboard to you in the app where you can track your credit card expenses, pay bills and understand charges and fees on your credit card

How do we store your data?

Our application stores your data in AWS, the most trusted Amazon cloud data platform. We store only the data that is absolutely necessary for our application to function in its entirety. Deleting some of this data will interrupt our application functionality. However, if you do not want us to store your data, you can send us your request to datasecurity@wizi.app and we will permanently delete it from our database once when the user uninstalls the app and the confirmation mail will reach the customer’s mailbox on successful deletion of data.

How do we share your data?

The information pertaining to its users is highly confidential and protected with military level security. Wizi does not share its user information as defined by its strong data policy. We will never transfer, sell, make copies, or share any of your data stored by the application to third party services or companies unless strictly necessary to enable the application to function properly. Accordingly, personal data will be disclosed to third parties on a strictly limited ‘need to know’ basis where there is clear justification for transferring Personal Data - either because the Data Subject has consented to the transfer or because disclosure is required to perform a contract to which the Data Subject is a party, or for a legitimate purpose that does not infringe the Data Subject’s fundamental rights, including the right to privacy (e.g. sharing in the context of a merger and acquisition operation).

Wizi Promise:

We also promise that the data fetched through this means is only used to

  • Present the data in a simple and refined format to the user in the app
  • Ensuring your card usage is appropriate and aligned to right card usage wrt credit utilization and bill payments

Wizi app also has a provision for customers to upload statement manually incase the customer is looking for an alternative way to link your card statements to the app.

Wizi does not promote the following

Wizi doesn’t use the data for serving ads, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising. Wizi also does not allow human to read the data unless its related to fixing the bug which is identified in our statement data fetcher.

Bureau Services

At the time of registration in the app, to provide a simple and easy mechanism of sign up, We will on your consent fetch the credit report available with any of the registered bureau services. The card related information will be presented to you for the addition and verification of cards to the app. The card related information like previous treatment of card accounts will be fetched and used for calculating the proprietary CARDSCORE from Wizi which will give you a real-time insight on your card usage. This will also help us highlight any immediate card concerns that need actions from your side to protect your financial wellbeing in the future. This ensures your behavior will have minimal impact on your credit worthiness.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Data retention and deletion

We may retain information regarding you and your use of the Products, including Personal Data, for as long as reasonably needed to provide you with the Products and the uses described in this Privacy Policy.

Please note that we retain your Personal Data even if you temporarily stop using the Application until you permanently delete the Application on your mobile device and notify us thereof. Upon notification, we may retain and continue to use and disclosure your Personal Data to Third Parties exclusively on a fully anonymized basis.

Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page
